Preamble

The academic aim of this program is to endow the graduates with a complete expertise in the engineering of quality systems. This is mainly due to the fact the program is an integrated set of complementary, mandatory and non-overlapping courses that address all the aspects of quality systems engineering.

The main intent of this program is twofold: First, the program is meant to prepare students with the skills, knowledge, expertise in cutting-edge technologies and best practices necessary for designing, modelling, analyzing, implementing and managing quality systems. Second, the program will put the emphasis on helping each individual acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to maximize his or her potential as a researcher in quality systems, lean engineering and supply chain management. Students will engage in applied research and academic course of study examining existing theory and ways in which these influence the quality of systems, services, products and processes.

Employment Prospects after Graduation: Our former students are currently employed by a variety of companies including RIM, Bombardier, Pratt & Whitney, Microsoft, SAP, CGI, Ericsson, IBM, Novatek, Mecanica, SNC-Lavalin, Presagis, Accenture, iCongo, Posera, Bell Canada , Oil and Aerospace Companies, and much more.
